Forget me not

•—•

Forget me not,

I wish I could stay

Decades and centuries passed

I don’t want to forget your name.

Faces blurrs,

Become one

Until all I can feel

is the past embrace.

We made promises

As children of the night

But the sun came

And what was left was goodbyes.

Forget me not

time has passed,

As you grew up

We grew apart.

Our strings of destiny

Has been cut

I’ve returned

To find out….

That you are gone.

This poem is dedicated to Ms. Anne Rice, I wrote it for her since I was at NY Comic Con and was planning on giving it to her but was not able to.

Comments are appreciated as always and I hope you enjoyed it!
