Truth about mirrors

Image not mine

When I look in the mirror I…..

want to run away,

disappear and wonder if

anyone will notice it.

I want to tell the person facing me

To go far away,

Change,

get taller,

better,

Imperfection hurts.

My vision become blur,

Brain screams to back away,

“It’s not you”

The voice in my head says.

And I cant really blame myself,

But the Media,

all these so call perfect girl,

It makes us normal one feel like nothing,

Like we should disappear.

When I look in the mirror

I see someone trying to find herself,

but the image is blurred,

Someday,

That image will be cleared.
